Unbe-LIV-ably LIV, LIVE
WOW! I found a new car to drive to California, two days prior to my desired date of departure, which for the past 3 months had been Monday Apr. 25. It's an amazing story, which i will be telling you after i'm settled in.
Left Rochester at 11 am Wednesday, 4/27. Crossed through Canada to get to Michigan from Rochester, and had a bit of a hassle convincing Canadian customs that i had the permission to drive the car i was driving, which added about 45 minutes to the 7-hour travel time.
Hello from Amherst Junction in the Dairy State (Wisconsin), Liv's hometown where i arrived Thursday night. She is baby-sitting the KEE-YOOtest little girl, named Azia who is 18 months old. (i didn't stay online too long .. we had to keep an eye on that precious little bundle)! Spent two nights there, leaving after breakfast at the Crystal Cafe in Iola about 9 am Saturday.
Made it about half-way across Nebraska, spending Sat. night at a Motel 6 in a little town called Cozad. It's Sunday evening and i'm now at Crystal's place in Evergreen, just outside Denver .. two more days (1271 miles, Denver to SF) to California. It was snowing today, and there was a lot of fog in the mountains.
i'm beat .. just wanted to post something for anyone who might be checking in. i'll do a massive update when i've got more energy.

Hey DT - I'm here and checking your journey! Glad to hear you have a car and are on your way... Just saw Minkastrani here in AMS early last week. And of course, Queen's Day was this weekend - hung out with Douglas and Nathan at the Homomonument, saw Gerard and others, and we all recall that crazy dancing up on the podium two years ago - you, me, Matt, and others!! Miss you dear, stay safe on your travels.
